The Unit Deployment Manager is the person who ensures the unit is ready to deploy by managing everything related to deployment readiness and training for all deployable personnel and cargo. They keep the deployable roster up to date, verify that required training, medical readiness, and security clearances are current, and coordinate pre-deployment processing, muster, and documentation. They also ensure that equipment and cargo are prepared, properly documented, and available for deployment, including manifests and any special handling needs. This role works with the Installation Deployment Officer and unit leadership to identify and close gaps so deployments proceed on schedule.
